Panel briefing sitting
Duration
Half day (three hours) or full day (six hours)
Where
North Terrace rooms or the employer’s Adelaide site
Price basis
AUD $920 half day · $1,640 full day within Greater Adelaide

Purpose

A scored briefing note is useful; a panel that has heard the reasoning behind the middle of the field is stronger. The sitting is for convenors who want contested applications discussed aloud before interview invitations go out.

What happens in the room

We open with the scoring frame, then move file by file through the recommended shortlist and the near-misses. Panel members may challenge a mark. Where the written evidence supports a change, we adjust the commentary; where it does not, we leave a clear record of why the original score stands.

Included

  • Facilitation for the booked window
  • Annotated copy of the briefing for each panel member
  • A short list of interview probes drawn from gaps in the written applications
  • Follow-up note within two working days capturing agreed shortlist changes

Not included

  • Replacing a full application file review (the sitting assumes scores already exist)
  • Legal advice on industrial disputes
  • Attendance outside Greater Adelaide without travel arrangements agreed in writing

Booking

Sittings are available after an application file review from this practice, or when you supply a comparable scoring sheet produced inside your organisation. Enquire with preferred dates and panel size.
